MEMBERSHIP

Join TSC and receive updates on upcoming productions, auditions and events.

The first step is to join our mailing list and receive regular news of our activities:

Once you have volunteered your assistance in one of our productions - backstage, on-stage or front of house - you are qualified for membership and will be added to our member list.

Members and patrons are entitled to:

• - Attend general meetings.
• - Attend and vote at AGM.
• - Receive general meeting minutes, agendas and notices.
• - Receive quarterly newsletter.
• - Receive pre-published notice of upcoming events and performances.

Patrons (Annual Membership $100.00) also receive:

• - Recognition at all opportunities as sponsor level members of the Tipling Stage Company.

AUDITIONS

Auditions will be taking place on June 23rd at 2:00 pm in Grace Tipling Hall, 203 Main Street East, Shelburne for our October production, Grounded by John Spurway.

The parts to be cast are:

• NATHAN: an accountant - 35 to 55.
• ELIZABETH: around the same age as Nathan.
• MARION: 78.
• TONY: 30 - 45.
• KATE: 20 to 35.

Five passengers wait in a departure lounge Pearson Airport for their snowstorm-delayed Air Canada flight. Nathan, the loner travelling on business to the Cayman Islands ignores the attempts at conversation from the more gregarious Elizabeth, a cosmetic salesperson, and Marion, a spunky senior. An eloping couple, on their way to the dream ‘wedding on the beach’ join them and the many twists and turns of the plot take us from classic sit-com scenario to spy spoof to – well, just who is supposed to be following who, and why?

The director of Grounded is Debbie Tait.

Rehearsals are Sunday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Thursday 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm beginning August 8th with performances on October 4th, 5th and 6th (matinée), 11th and 12th. Please note that there is also a privately booked matinée on the 12th in addition to the evening performance.

TICKETS

Tickets are available, during the weeks before a production, at the following locations:

• - Holmes Appliances & Music Shop
• - Caravaggio IDA
• - Shelburne Town Hall

Performance prices are $15.00 unless otherwise stated in a specific production's advertising materials. In the case of pantomimes, $8.00 tickets are available for children under the age of twelve. If you would like your tickets sent to you, please enter your address in the 'Special Instructions' box and we'll mail them to you. Otherwise, they will be waiting for you at the theatre up to half an hour before the performance to pick up your tickets.

GROUP TICKETS

For a club outing, a local business, an alumni reunion, birthday party or just for you and some friends and family, a Tipling Stage Company performance could be just the ticket - excuse the pun! You're certain to find one production during the season (perhaps more than one) that will appeal to all the members of your party.

A $5 discount per ticket is available for groups of 10 or more. Group tickets are non-refundable and must be purchased in advance of the performance that you wish to attend. Contact us.

SEASON TICKETS

Season Tickets are available for purchase, at a cost of $36.00 per set of 3 tickets, until the final performance of the first play of the season.
